CA sending letters after Validation letter??

I received a few letters from "Lake Valley Retrievals, Inc.," and on 1-28-04 I sent them a Validation letter (copied from whychat's web site).
I received the return receipt back on 1-30-04.
Today I received another letter from them, dated 2-20-04. It's the same "attempt to collect a debt" kind of letter.
They never sent any kind of validation to me.
I live in Calif. and this debt is at about the date of SOL, a couple more months.
Should I send them another Validation request, or .....what do I do from here?? Thanks for the help.
