Generally not a good idea to send validation letter while account is within SOL. IGNORE THEM. Don't talk to them. Let the machine pick up, watch caller ID. Protect your assets now. Don't let them get updated info on you.

Just gave you that link so that you know what they can not take in case of law suit and judgement. ALSO, if they have your banking info (if you ever paid with your current checking account) close that account. Open an account in a different bank, with your spouse as primary.
