Send them the Cease & Desist letter from this site via CRRS mail. Admit nothing, hang up when these pukes call. If they continue to call after receiving your letter, report them to the Federal Trade Commission. Do not demand 'validation' from them but do dispute the debt in writing.
They won't provide info in writing because that would serve as evidence - against them - for conning you into agreements under duress. No self-respecting lawyer, not even an ambulance chaser, willingly devolves to the depths of 'collections attorney'. This from a former prominent attorney for the banking skindustry. Collections lawyers make ambulance chasers look good. They are greaszy-suit roadkill-hairpiece ill-fitting denture types whose sole ability is to lie. If they had a scintilla of conscience they'd hang themselves in Judas-like manner for their egregious misdeeds.
Ignoring them might also work. When they call, my old favorite was a couple good blasts from a compressed-air 'boathorn in a can', available at most marine supply shops. Of course, this can cause permanent hearing loss to the nice people calling so you would never want to consider doing such a vile thing. Best just to report them to the FTC, your state AG, as well as the Bar Association and the BBB. Tar them good by writing them up to anyone who'll listen. Cloud them.

Vilely,

Keyser Soze
