I have recently received a call from a company called US allgroup, or US algroup. They tell me that they plan to take me to court over a past due credit card debt. This debt is about 4 years old so it has been sold several times to different collection agencies. Now I know that if they do not have an attourney in my state they cannot prosecute me, and it is illegal for them to threaten my with such allegations if they do not inted to do so. What a this point can I do? I cannot find anything on them online so I do not know where they are located, or who they are. Is there a way to find out without talking with them directly?
