I just
recieved a letter from asset acceptance llc welcoming me as a new
customer and then states i have a balance past due of $4229.32. It
says it is the first notice and i have 30 days to dispute or get
validation. I have no idea what the debt is from. must be many years
old. I used to live in ohio where asset llc's letter came from
(cleveland). I now live in california. i have no idea how they got my
adress etc. It states the original creditor as: Various
ssuers/nationwide commercial finance. I have no idea who this is.
Should I contact them within 30-days? should i send the certified
cease communication letter? PLEASE HELP!
