It IS illegal, its a violation of the FDCPA for them to be calling your relatives all over the country to embarrass you into paying or contacting them ! If they HAVE your correct mailing address, then they have NO business contacting ANYONE else. If they even mentionted to anyone that they were collecting a debt, they defintitely racked up violations !!
