Yes, but make sure you protect that bank account. Totally ignore the CAs. Do not look at your credit report, do not apply for any credit (obvious) Change your phone number, disconnect and reconnect in somebody else's name if possible. Or just use cell. Get a P.O. Box. You may still get sued, but you will have the money for an attorney (good strategy) and you will save yourself from a lot of harrassment and stress. The bad stuff will fall off your Credit report sooner too. Good Luck.
