You can validate any time you want, you are NOT limited to THEIR 30 days. All that means is that THEY ASSUME the debt is valid, it PROVES nothing. The threat of legal action w/in 5 days is bullcrap, and if they don't do it, its an ILLEGAL threat at that ! I wouldn't stress out over it. How old is the debt, when did you last pay MBNA ? How much do you owe them ? What state are you in ?
