I live in Texas. I quit paying about 10 months ago after they jacked my rate up about 13% and jumped my payments up $200.00 over what I had been paying. With penalties, int., and all that other crap it's about $16000.00. It was around 12 or 13 before all hell broke loose. Divorce 4 years ago kicked my butt. I own very little but also have very little debt. Is a judgement so bad? I will not pay these bastards.
