If so, and you can't pay it, you will probably want to send them a cease and desist letter. They will then have to leave you alone except for possibly suing you. If they do, call a bankruptcy lawyer at once--not that you necessarily want to take that option, just that a BK lawyer knows about people in your situation and may have some good ideas. If you're in central/eastern NC I might could help.
