My post was assuming that all you have received from them was a sleazy, threatening phone call and that you have nothing in writing. If they have already mailed you something then do NOT call them back, except maybe from a pay phone telling them that you are sending them your answer in the mail (I did that and it shut them up until they received it, which shut them up for good).
