I've read all the postings regarding the reaging of accounts, and by asset acceptance in particular, but have a couple of questions.

My situation is like most others. Diner's account that had last activity over 5 years ago, Asset Acceptance reaged to be last activity 2003. I know that this is past the statute of limitations, and can submit this info to the court if I am in fact sued. The question is whether I would be better served to let them sue, and present this information in court. I'm thinking it makes sense to get a judgement by the court as opposed to a simple dismissal prior to that process.

Wouldn't it be easier for me to state my case to the credit reporting agencies if I had a judgement?!?
