I'm also wondering if anyone knows how to find out which firm would be representing them. They've not sued yet, but I'd like to do my research before it gets to that point.

As far as a suit, are we saying that I should sue to have them remove the information from my credit report? I'm curious because I would need to find someone that would represent me, and I'm not into retaining a lawyer at a fee that I may never recover, or at least not for a long time!

Any ideas/suggestions on how to handle? One last thing, I'm really interested in an answer to my first question, re: is it better to let them sue and get a judgement, or to have it the case dismissed by using the SOL prior to the actual case. I'd like to present all my information in court and get a judgement, as opposed to just scaring them off. I basically have not threatened them or even indicated that I would fight anything.
