All,

I've posted a thread that isn't getting any response, but I'm hoping someone can offer some info... I had an acct with Diners (DOLA 1998), I'm in TX (SOL = 4 yrs), so I'm beyond that time. Asset Acceptance has re-aged. I have old credit history showing this. I've not been sued yet, but they say it's coming. I'm not particularly worried about that, but am wondering if I should move to have it dismissed if that occurs, or if I'd be better of letting it get to court so that I can have a judgement in my favor to use with other CRA's. Basically, I'm curious if it makes more sense because a dismissal would not prevent this from occuring again, and it would not provide any "finding" from the court that could be used. Any thoughts?
