The DOLA date of last activity is not the same as the 7 year purge date. I don’t fully know how this works, but EVERY debt buyer puts a DOLA as the date they bought the account, since that is THEIR date of last activity. That tradeline HAS to drop off at the same 7 years as the original account that it references HAS to fall off. So even if their DOLA says 2003, it has to fall off 7 years from 1998 in 2005, at the same time that the original account has to fall off.

This is tricky to figure out, and I don’t know that you have an issue until 2005 when the Diner’s Club card is scheduled to fall off. This tradeline should fall off at the same time even if its DOLA says 2003. If you have any luck finding out more on this let us know. You used to be able to check Experians information online, and it would say when the accounts were scheduled to drop off. On my report, the debt buyers’ accounts were all listed as falling off on the same dates as the original creditors even though they had different DOLAs. You can’t get that information from Experian online anymore. My credit report is filled with debt buyers with DOLA all over the charts, but any issue of reaging won’t become apparent unless they don’t fall off with the corresponding original creditors’ tradelines 7 years from chargeoff.
