You are wise not to respond to them, CA "lawyers" lie like rugs, most aren't real lawyers at all, but collection agents on commission working for the "figurehead" lawyer.

This forum is FILLED with people who "settled" and found out too late they were lied to and had their credit situation made worse.

Depending on your situation, i.e. age of the debt, your State etc.you may be better off ignoring ALL communications from a CA.
