They are not reasonable. I don't recommend even talking to CAs or CA attorneys. They lie and threaten, but usually that's about it. Don't believe a word they say. If you tell them you will be able to pay in 6 to 8 months they WILL SUE. Best bet is to IGNORE THEM. Protect your assets NOW. Especially banking info. change banks. If they sue, it is time enough to file bk. After you protect assets (banking info) relax. Chances are good that they will move onto easier targets and the bad stuff will drop off your credit report much sooner. Paying a CA only prolongs negatives on your credit report much longer.
