The only way to deal with them is the way by which a shopkeeper would deal with Mob-hoodlum enforcer-extortionists. Swiftly, vigorously, dispassionately by means of every legal remedy at your command. Show them no mercy, full in the knowledge they'd disintern their own deceased mothers so as to 'recover' and hock their dental fillings.
