In addition to telling them to get bent, you need to tell them that you're aware the accounts are beyond the SOL. Send Why Chat's SOL letter if you haven't already. Otherwise, you are correct.

If you don't send the SOL letter, they may assume you don't know the statute has run and file suit. Then you'll be like me....duking it out in court at the cost of filing fees and lost vacation time. :-) If you do send the SOL letter (make sure its sent CRRR), you'll give them notice that any suit they file will be time-barred, frivolous, and fought vigorously by their so-called "victim."
