>>>WE??? Whose debt is it? Are you an actual debtor, or an authorized user?<<<<

"We" my husband and I, got lots of "pre-approved" card offers. The card in dispute was just in MY name. It's not a joint card. I'm the actual debtor.

I've never heard of ANY cc company just sending out cards that can be used immediately by the recipient; does this happen? Mine was DEFINITELY "pre-approved" in that they had my info already and were ready to sign me up. But they didn't just send a card. I would think that would be dangerous for thieves to get their hands on.

Anyway, you asked that last question, so I thought I'd answer. Sounds like since I DID have to put my soc sec on their and put my name on something it would not be considered oral agreement. Sigh. I was getting my hopes up, there. Now I'm not sure what to do.

Thanks, Why chat.
