Thanks, JKelly, I wish sometimes I could file BK (debt not sufficient) and may need it later if we get another round of those horrible medical bills (Over $220,000 last time - we paid every penny and wiped out our lifelong savings). These cards are still with OC (First Union sold out to Wachovia). I just wish they would be more consistant with the due date so I could manage a little better. Our only income is from Permanent Disability SS payable to us on the 3rd of each month. If we aren't (which is a BIG if) faced with another hospitalization, I hope to get these cards paid off in three (3) years by paying amounts above the minimum when I can.
