I always say to ignore because it worked well for me. I had 13 cards(finally counted) and only one sued. The older account is the less likely they will be able to validate. I never acknowleged ANYTHING, not even that I received the correspondence from them. It worked for me, and I avoided a lot of stress and sleepless nights. I also did not speak with the CA that did sue me. They claimed to have bought my account for almost 6K. Now I don't know if that was true or not (not according to what I read here) but if not, then they lied to on the summons that they filed with the court. So, if they paid that much for the account, they probably were going to sue no matter what I did. This CA was based in Canada. I don't think they knew that STATE LAW protected my house. They also added almost 4k more in interest, so the law suit was for just under 10k. That particular CA doesn't seem to be around anymore.
