My wife and I together make just over $10k/month gross. We have about $200k in unsecured bad debt. We live in Iowa where our house is completely exempt. Do you think there is ANY way a judge would allow us to file 7 or would we be "forced" into a 13? I thought they couldn't force you to do a 13. This is what I thought the new laws were supposed to do. Thanks.
