As i said very stupid, yes i did, and my wife and i have a few things left to come out of the account today, and then it is being closed. The bank is aware of what is takeing place due to the stop payment. They as well as me are keeping a close eye on the account. I am aware now what can happen if they change the dollar amount or don't use a specific check number all of those preventive things are in place. Also being the account is joint they do not have to right to asset in that account correct. Thank you very much for your responses this is a great thing.
