I have one account with Sherman Acquistions that was sent to their hacks at CI. They threatened me, lied to me, all the stuff you read about. I sent them a letter to validate the account. I received the nicest letter from them, telling me they would do their best to validate, but they would be "happy to work with me on a settlement and payment plan". My goodness, how things change. Let's see what happens next. Anyone have experience with validation coming through, and how long it took? This is a debt that has ballooned from around $10k to over $13.5k with fees/interest/penalties. Good luck to all out there!! Power
