You are talking "apples and oranges".
The "validation" I referred to is some reasonable proof that would be acceptable in Court.

What is acceptable depends on the Court, and how you have answered the claim.

If for instance, you have NOT answered a claim, and show up in Court asking for "proof" of the claim, all that will happen is the Judge will look at WHATEVER is presented and ask you "Is this your debt?", at which point it doesn't matter if the "validation" is flimsy or non existant.

If, however, you answer denying the amounts, the interest, the legal fees, the right of the CA to be filing suit,and asserting SOL and other defenses, THEN the CA must produce documentation to prove that you are wrong.

The purpose of asking for "validation" is to find out IF the CA has this proof, and to warn them that if they DO NOT have it, you will demand it if they file suit.
