likewise, CatB, don't forget about the med bill paid to the OC that will likely be reported by their "CA partner" on "UR daughter's" credit report...
it's a very similar senario...and the same HAUNT to get removed, much less get any answers from the med OC or the CA involved...
'jus ask TaylorPea (for one) who has posted about that here...i'm experiencing the same problems.
the med OC's that report "PAID Collections" (albeit via their CA's) only serve their own brand of retribution to poison your credit report.
it seems they have a few more LOOpHoles to get by with that, than what our average CA has invented sofar.
they will try their damndest to assure us it is "permissable purpose" so that it will remain on your CR for 7 years....
if it's PAID and documented, (thereof), it is time to forget and forgive.
What about a year or so in time and you have to go back to the same med OC and they look up your records and see a Paid Collection (or % settled upon)and DENY you service because of that?...???
i'm 'jus asking 'cause it seems to be happening to me...
