First of all, you might qualify for legal assistance through legal aid since you are on disability.

Second, judges are not all knowing, all seeing. KEep in mind that all judges were lawyers first. While some become judges because they love the law and want things to be better, some (I know two personally) could not make money as lawyers and so moved on to the less lucrative, but guaranteed salary of judge.

Third, judges make mistakes. I suggest you appeal. IN the future, don't put money where they can reach it.
