First off, I was not at the hearing due to a mix-up in room numbers. Was in the wrong room while the plaintiff's attorney and the judge were in another.

Can judges rule in Equity and set aside the law ?
Do you mean ignore the fact of the SOL and accept a credit card application (the only piece of evidence that was presented by the plaintiff)

If they do, is there grounds for an appeal ?
