Ever lost a case ? I've actually never HAD a case myself - not yet anyway. However, I have helped several people on more than one board who HAVE won their cases.

My biggest problem was never credit cards - it was a foreclosure and a 2nd mortgage that is now a whopping unsecured debt (2 yrs worth of interest and penalties tacked on). All that misery came about because of 3 layoffs in a 5-6 year span. Credit cards actually don't amount to much in comparison. When I went thru the last layoff, before all the charge-offs happened, my total credit card debt was a little under 20K. Now, of course, all the CA's have inflated that to a ridiculous level.
