in a good world this would work. guess what? it wont. because for whatever reason this person didnt show..the judge will not do her case for her. it is up to them to prove its SOL..and they werent there. instant default. the world is not fair! our justice system is not fair! welcome to reality :). thats why theres innocent and guilty and 2 sides. now this person has to appeal...wait months..possibly pay more money out..take off work..and go thru more again..esp if the company gets delays and makes them show anyways. judges r not fair..the law makes no sense..and thats how it is. sounds good, dont it? here is law in black and white. however once u enter those doors in that building..its a whole new ballgame. which is why i dont want to go near any court unless im forced to. then, of course, comes the fun of fighting with the reporting bureaus on getting it reversed yet again.
