Here’s their Better Business Bureau report.

"We rate this company as having an unsatisfactory business performance record based on a pattern of unanswered complaints that cause us concern.

Some complainants allege this company attempts to collect debts which are fictitious, already paid, or are otherwise invalid. Other complainants allege representatives making collection calls use harassment tactics, vulgar language, are rude and unprofessional, and fail to provide complainants with substantiation of the amount actually owed, or in some cases, for the debt itself. One complainant alleges when the company contacted him regarding a debt which he did not owe, he contacted the original creditor for help clearing the erroneous debt. The alleged creditor agreed to cooperate and contacted this company on behalf of the complainant to advise that the complainant had never been a client, and he did not owe money. The complainant reports the alleged creditor contacted the company on three separate occasions, however the companmy refuses to clear the debt.

The company responds in some cases by disputing the allegations, or in some cases agreeing to close the account. Some complaints are closed as unresolved, meaning the customers are not satisfied with the company's response. Other complaints are unanswered.

If you have been contacted by a collection agency for a debt which seems unfamiliar to you, carefully check your records to verify the the origin and amount before paying. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act protects consumers from unfair collection tactics including, threats, harassment, and collection of fictitious debts.
This law also requires debt collectors to supply documentation to substantiate the debt upon request of the debtor. If they are unable to present the requested documentation, you are not required to pay the debt. Phone calls allegedly tracked with ANI's may still not validify the debt as the ANI will identify the receiving phone line, but not the actual caller.

The Better Business Bureau does not endorse, recommend or disapprove of any product, service or company."
