I got a call from NCO..apparently they are the ones Discover gave my account to after they reneged on that hardship program. So if a lawsuit was coming, does it come from NCO or Discover? NCO said the account no longer belongs to Discover. She also said some conflicting info. I ended up saying 'too bad for you cause they defaulted on my account,I have it all in writting, and I don't owe YOU one red cent." She had nothing to say after that and hung up. I know, I know, I need to not talk to them but they piss me off.
Do you think it would help if I wrote a letter to the AG and let them know what Discover does to people with this so-called 'hardship program'? I know it happened to someone else on here as well. I was paying and one day they up and take me off. Then want me to pay a ca for nearly the same amount or settlment. Doesn't make sense to me.
