Do not mix up the DOLA (Date Of Last Activity) with the SOL (Statute of Limitations).

If Providian sold the account to AssetSux in Jun 2001 than Jun 2001 is the date of last activity on the account. It has nothing to do with the statute of limitations which is entirely different.
