Quick question about bank account and collections...

Hi I made a "Telecheck" payment (wish i hadn't) back to MBNA in December, 2003, because i wanted to keep the account out of charge off, but can not afford to pay now. My bank is wells fargo. I since closed that account they took it out of. But we still have a joint account in it and I have a business checking. If MBNA forwards it on to a collection agency, can they try to take funds from my other accounts, despite the one above being closed? Or try to, becausee MBNA would inform them that the bank used was Wells Fargo? or am i just being paranoid? I of course will not give the CA the info about where I bank. Thanks Pat
