I THINK it depends on where you live. In my area, they check Equifax. At a previous address they checked TransUnion. You can find out by going to your local bank and look for signs which say something like "all accounts will be verified by" and it will tell you which CRA. Anyway, my back has such a sign. Little gold and black sign on officers desk where new accounts are opened.
