Hi Don't pay any attention to Sunkissed, she is a CA, and we don't pay her much mind. She jumps to a lot of conclusions.
Anyway, I really don't know what NY state law says. You may have a case against the attorney, but he will probably claim clerical error. Good Luck. Wish I could be more helpful.
