If this should land in court, they would have to PROVE that they sent the letter. That means crrr.

I once went to court against a landlord who would not give back a security deposit. First he said he sent it. Then he said he had his secretary (father) send it. Then he said he sent it but lost the receipt. Judge ruled against him for not having proof. Of course, there could not be any as he never sent it ou.

Always keep a paper trail and make sure that you send it all crrr.
