So if they're suing me, that would be a countersuit, right? As I have proof that they received my SOL letter, as well as an old hardcopy of a credit report, it looks like it should be cut and dry, correct?

To answer the other question by the other poster -- I did not receive anything Certified Mail. It was sent regular postage.

Six pages:
1) Warrant in Debt (Civil Claim For Money) stating date and time of court date. It appears to have been issued on January 23rd, though I just received it today (Mar 3rd). I received the receipts from the SOL letter I sent them a couple of weeks ago (mid Feb).

2) Virginia Affidavit of Attorney's Fees. $337.46 dated 12 January 2004.

3) Another affidavit, this one from Michigan. States the Outsourcing Supervisor of Asset Acceptance LLC says why they're suing, and for how much ($1349.83 + $917.07 in accrued interest). Dated 12 January 2004.

4) Statement of account. Just a printout showing Providian account number, Asset's purchase date (7/3/01), principal amount plus interest and late fees. Dated 12 January 2004.

5 & 6) Really shoddy xerox copy of a Providian agreement, with the "Promise to Pay" section bracketed. Nothing signed by me though.

So here's what it looks like:
I received the original letter from Shenandoah Legal Group on January 23rd (date on letter January 20th), demanding payment in full or they'd recommend lawsuit. I sent SOL letters to Asset and Shenandoah on Feb 19th CRRR, and received receipts about a week or so later.

So looking at the dates, they sent me a letter on January 20th, but affidavits were dated January 12th. The Date Issued on the Warrant is January 23rd. They received the SOL letters in mid-February. They sent this packet of paperwork to me on March 3rd, not certified mail, only first class.
