Household Bank (GM credit card) is taking me to court 3/22/04. I was served an supnea and then I received notice in mail to show up at the county court house in Indian River Co. Florida. I have made pleas in the past to pay month payments of $50 however household says it's not enough. because of all months gone by with this balance is now 6000.00. my question is How do i pay for this, they are asking for 6000 plus court and attorny fee's. If i could afford i would pay them but i need to do it in monthly installments. that's not good enough. if the judge goes with the plaintiff, can they garnish my wages and can they go after my checking account? Any info will be much apprectiated. Thanks for your time. carol
