Look. A court appearance requires a service, meaning some lacky from the sheriff's office has to come to your door and personally hand you (or someone living at your residence) a summons. Why all of a sudden do we have all these cases of someone getting a supposed summons to appear in court without a personal service? Are these asshole collectors suddenly trying to pull something? I hope they must think that the average public is stupid, because if they come across me, THEY won't hear the end of it until I am collecting the last dollar from them on my granted judgment from the court against them. I haven't had a call to me or to my dad's house (where they used to call all the time) in over a year. I think they realise I am not stupid. It comes to the point where you almost WANT them to try something, just so you can sue them blind. I don't care to sue anyone, but I will in a heartbeat, if they dare disturb me again. BACK TO THE SUBJECT AT HAND - honey , you need to just sit down and talk with a 'GOOD' attorney. Not a shithead, a 'GOOD' attorney. I'm sure many referrals people on here can refer. Take their advice. The way this world is today, people, especially large companies take advantage of the general public, because they think we are stupid fucking morons. Don't add to their stereotype. FIGHT BACK. Everyone here is on your side and will help you to the end. I wish you the best of luck, my friend. Best Regards, Marc
