It seems you were properly served. But the real question is 1) did they obtain jurisdiction over you, and 2) is this for a judgment in another state?

If it's for a foreign judgment against you obtained in another state, it's possible that the plaintiff may be authorized to enforce it in Mississippi.

You *definitely* need an attorney. I don't think this is something you can handle pro se very easily. And it must be for a large sum for the plaintiff to go to the trouble of personally serving you in MS. Get a lawyer ASAP!
