Jay A Taylor, Houston, Texas. He is a legitimate attorney licensed in TX and Louisiana. Single attorney debt collection shop with 4 collectors. He is NOT a rent-a-lawyer fraud like Collect America’s goons who never sue. I checked out a few places, and he actually sues. A couple of cases on behalf of Providian and Sears. Amazingly, he graduated from Tulane! And he’s a collection attorney. Anyway, he specializes in alimony, child support, and credit card collections. He does have 4 collectors on staff which still means they collect most of their money by calling first and trying to make settlements. Courtroom litigation is always the last resort. But in this case, he’s working on behalf of OC’s so the final call on whether to sue or not is with them. If you’ve got a Providian or Sears account and you live in Texas, this guy just may sue you if the OC is willing to pay the filing fees and his fees. He’s NOT listed on Bud Hibbs website as a shyster agency.
