You are already doing everything logical. You have protected assets. I think it is good that you are paralyzed with fear. You have learned a very valuable lesson while still young. That being said. Not much you can do but wait it out.

I think you need to take a 2nd look at those garnishment laws. It says someting about 60 days and I won't pretend to understand it.
