Yes, MCM, I agree. Claiming improper service at this point won't help. An Answer to the lawsuit must be filed if required. Blowing it off is only going to guarantee a judgment. That is also going to complicate the son's bankruptcy filing because the jdugment, once entered, doesn't just disappear with a BK filing. The judgment must be vacated separately after the discharge is granted - and that costs extra time and attorney's fees.
