Well, I don't recall that my attorney told me that if I came into a large sum of money that it would go toward bk debt. Of course, even though I tend to make light of it, it was a stressful time. I would be lying if I didn't admit that. I was glad when it was over and my attorney told me that the trustee was recommending discharge. Attorney's are human too. That was a very significant mistake that your attorney made though.
