This is why the poster above, who WAS sued after requesting validation did not hear again from the CA, they are NOT allowed to continue ANY collection activities, but filing suit is NOT considered a collection activity, but rather a legal right.<<<<<


I spoke to my attorney about this and collections is his specialty and he told me that filing suit WAS INDEED an attempt to collect a debt and would thus open the law firm or collector up to a huge class action lawsuit. Are you sure that they can file after an unanswered request for validation?

And what about Brennan Vs. Spears?
