You have been scammed by a "garbage" collection agency, file a complaint IMMEDIATELY with the FTC and your State Attorney General's Office and file a POLICE REPORT for theft by deception, also notify your bank that this was a fraudulent withdrawal and get their fraud form to fill out.

Close the account and reopen with a flag for NO WITHDRAWALS without written consent.

Most likely the debt wasn't even valid, either past SOL, or a data only account (without back up information)
