Just a note to thank everyone for your good advice. Mom and I went to our (GOOD) attorney yesterday and I'm off the house now. We also went to the bank and took care of getting me off the bank accounts. He felt a trust was the way to go with this.

We have different phone numbers but the OCs call both numbers--my Mom's and mine. Mom is resistant to changing her phone number but that might change when the CAs start calling.

Next steps for me are getting what little savings I have out of my bank account and putting it into Mom's account or into Travelers Cheques. I think I've got plenty of time before any freezing of my bank account but I'm stopping my direct deposit and just keeping enough in my bank account to pay bills. It's a credit union.

Anyway--Thanks so much for listening. I'll keep reading and gaining knowledge. I hope I can someday help others like you guys have helped me just by listening.
