cat, one of the things we do is try to shed somelight on the realities of the industry. So, just like helping someone here, we help others when we share our stories with the media. It's just that in those cases, we may never see or hear from the people we help. One of the things that does happen as a result is that consumers who do't know where to turn hear that there is a group of people on the internet helping other people while they help themselves. They come looking and find us. It's called "paying it forward" or karma, or whatever, but you can't just curl up in your cozy little hole and not reach out any way you can to those who have no help available.

As far as what they write about, we don't have any say in that. They decide on a subject they believe can be developed, and then go looking for the people. As one story is written, others come to light. One of the interests for future documentaires and articles is about how old, charged off, and bk'd debts get sold over and over, and how they come out of nowhere to devastate people who have finally managed to recover from their troubles.

We don't always get to call the shots, we take what chances come our way.
